bloody knuckles and JOLT are proud to announce an afternoon of music and community showcasing at Four Fountains Tattoo Collective in emphatic observance of SmashXSmashWest.

bands will take the floor to perform in support of a recent call to divest from the military and tech industrial complex-funded festival that descends upon the city each year, and delegitimize the patronizing language of “unofficial” showcases by committing to community highlighting and preservation in the stead of the meek and trivial scraps (cultural and financial) that the festival promises artists, venues, and community members every year.
a suggested donation of $10-15 will serve as cover, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the venue. no one will be turned away for lack of funds. educational materials highlighting the history of black and brown neighborhoods of austin, provided by the ATX Barrio Archive, will also be on display throughout the event. we hope to announce more tabling community organizations soon.
